VISITING SUJARO'S SAN FRANCISCO GALLERY
Dear Friends and Clients of SUJARO,
Life at SUJARO is busy and full. We have consolidated our operation into the top two floors at 229 Kearny Street, between Sutter and Bush in downtown San Francisco. A good landmark to look for is the giant "TUXEDOS" sign that is right above our door, which is visible in one of the pictures below. The floor opens to a very exclusive gallery with top-quality pieces on pedestals. As you travel further up to the warehouse, there are 8 rooms absolutely packed with extraordinary African pieces from the entire continent. These are the treasures from past collecting trips and a few other gems acquired here and there. For any true African art collector living the United States, to not visit our gallery would limit the experience of what is able to be seen. Our unique access through travel and direct collecting and purchasing has taken us to a level of exposure to pieces in their indigenous setting which no other American dealer can claim.
Our website is growing in volume every day. The number of purchasers, visitors, and interested colleagues grows daily. There will be exciting changes to the website in coming months.
The staffing operation consists of two of us, and we do our best to respond quickly, efficiently, and completely to every inquiry. For pieces for which a price inquiry is required, it would be helpful if you could mention a little about your history of collecting or background in your email or phone message, as discretion is
preferred.
To all of our new and past clients and friends, it is my hope that you continue or begin to enrich your lives with any type of art; I have found it keeps me healthy, sane, and creative. History and empirical evidence have shown unequivocally that collecting artifacts as an investment is a wise one, and they also provide for pleasure while you are still alive.
Health to you and your families,
Sincerely,
Andrew Berz,
Owner
